Dear diary

It’s frightening, putting yourself out to the world. As an author, we like to hide behind our little curtains and desks, pretending the big wide world doesn’t exist beyond our little stories. Well, it does, and I’ve done it. Ventured out, dipped my toes into the waves of social media, and created my own author website. Welcome!

I have plans. My little dream of becoming a published author, sending my stories out into the world, it feels so close yet infinitely far. Other writer friends know this feeling. It’s like you’re edge of the cliff and you can see the glorious mountaintop on the other side of the chasm. But you don’t know the path ahead, how long it will be to reach that peak or which way to go. All you know is you need to put one foot in front of the other, keep adventuring, and make it happen. This is what my little heart is telling me. So I’ll keep you updated, follow along for the ride. It all has to start somewhere.
